He is now managing JMDR Group’s business in Australia, UK and India.

22 years of experience in the field of Railway Signalling including a particularly strong background in signalling management including signalling Design, Construction Works, Maintenance, Testing, Commissioning, Handover and documentation. Richard is capable of assisting across all aspects of the rail spectrum. Richard has previously been responsible for the management of maintenance across all the rail disciplines as well as managing the safety interfaces of major projects integration into operational rail systems..
He has also delivered in Senior Management roles and recently managed a team of 230 Project Engineering and Construction staff to deliver Electrical and Civil project works to relevant standards, safety and quality and project management requirements.
Bruce McMurtrie Senior Testing & Commissioning Manager
Bruce McMurtrie has extensive knowledge and experience in Signal Engineering, Project Management and Communications network construction. Bruce celebrated more that 40 years service with the NSW railways working in both maintenance and construction. Bruce has managed major projects through concept, design, construction, testing and commissioning. Bruce has worked as a project director leading a team of communication project managers expanding and renewing the railway communications backbone and network. Bruce is available for both short term and medium term engagements.
Adam Toffolo Signals Project Manager and TIC
Adam Toffolo is NSW Licensed Railway Signal Engineer with more than 12 years’ experience in Australia and UK. He is highly motivated team leader with strong “can do” attitude of delivering a quality outcome of successful project delivery. He has recently commissioned Stage 9 Auburn Junction (Multi-discipline complex Resignalling Project) as a TIC. He has worked on other high profile complex projects such as Epping to Chatswood Rail Link, North Shore Headways and Homebush Turnback. Previously, he had managed and delivered a portfolio of MPM projects for the City/Inner West Region of Sydney Trains. Adam is currently working as TIC of Stages 10 and 11 of Auburn Junction Upgrade Project (more than $400M).

After joining the industry as an employee of British Rail, Nicholas ventured to Asia where he has spent the majority of his career to date. He has a broad experience of signalling systems which include TGV, Heavy Freight & Monorail having worked for projects in eight countries. His career progression has seen him established in senior roles such as Principles Designer, Principles Tester & Tester In Charge..
